Grown by The Legendary Sea To Sky Organics, Jaffa Caked Cookies in an evenly balanced hybrid strain (50% indica / 50% sativa) created through crossing the infamous Tangie X Phantom Cookies strains. Known for its delicious flavour and hazy high, Jaffa Caked Cookies is a favourite of hybrid lovers around the world. This bud has a sweet and spicy fruity grape flavour with a nutty cookie exhale that tingles on the tongue.
The aroma is just as juicy, with a sour citrusy overtone that’s slightly pungent as the nugs are broken apart and burned away. The Jaffa Caked Cookies high is just as amazing, with a lifted and euphoric overtone that will have you flying high in both mind and body, just totally unfocused in the process.
Your head will feel hazy and out of touch, but you’ll be totally happy to be there, while your body settles into a relaxing and calming state that keeps you anchored without causing too much sedation.
In combination with its high 21-24% average THC level, these effects make Jaffa Caked Cookies the perfect bud for treating conditions such as headaches or migraines, chronic stress, depression, mood swings and chronic pain. This bud has fluffy heavy olive green nugs with tapered thin orange hairs and a frosty thick coating of tiny white crystal trichomes.
Phantom Cookies is Grandaddy Purple X Cherry Pie, and as you’d expect, this brings pain-relieving hybrid genetics to the table. Tangie is DNA Genetic’s strain designed to emulate the original Tangerine Dream of the mid-90s, with a strong orange taste.
Jaffa Caked Cookies was bred by London Dank in collaboration with Cookie Monster, and released on the FrostedLondonDank Label.
The smell captures a mixture of the Tangie and the Phantom Cookies. The strong – almost artificial due to too many cleaning companies being overzealous with the limonene – smell of Tangie can still be smelt in Tangie crosses, and this is no exception.
Mixed in are the sweet notes coming from the other side of its lineage. When I break apart and grind up the bud a pungent aroma is released, adding to the overtly orange-scent and giving me an idea why this strain was named Jaffa Caked Cookies!
